Over and over throughout the Bible, God's true desire is shown in many different ways, communicating something very different than what we may have come to expect. God doesn't want us to follow the rules or join a religion. He wants to have a relationship with us. If we truly understand that and change our core belief about what God really wants from us, it changes everything.
