COVID-19 Safety Measures

We are taking extra precautions in our Kids (K-5th grade) environments.

Here are a few of the changes you can expect as you join us on Sunday mornings starting October 4:

  • We will operate at a reduced capacity in all of our rooms to allow for greater social distancing. (Don't forget: All kids and students will be moving up to the NextGen environment related to the grade they are in this fall.)
  • Touchless check-in will be in place to reduce contact on surfaces. Staff and volunteers will assist families.
  • All staff, volunteers, and kids (2nd grade-5th grade) will need to wear masks in the Kids Area.
  • All kids (K-5th) will have temperatures checked before entering venues.
  • Adults will drop off and pick-up kids at entrance to venues as opposed to walking through the venues.
  • Kids will stay in their venue space the entire service instead of joining with other grades for large group story time.

About Kids Ministry

Our mission is to help elementary-age children discover who they are in Christ and how God has uniquely called them to serve in His Kingdom.

Every Sunday, children (kindergarten through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we discourage their presence in our adult services.

Our Goals

Here’s what you can expect your kids to get from Kids ministry.

Provoke Discover

Our 252 Strategy provokes discovery and invites children to a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. It is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world. Hands-on activities, high-energy games, new friends and encouraging words from the time they walk through the doors until they leave create an excitement to return each week!

Provide Community

Age-graded small groups are designed to support a safe environment with consistent leaders who engage children to trust God’s character and live out God’s story by loving and serving others. You can trust that our staff and volunteers serve because they love being with kids and are called by God to this ministry. Every volunteer is screened with a national background check, trained in child protection guidelines, and trained in their area of ministry.

Partner With Parents

We want to partner wth YOU! Take-home resources assist parents in continuing the Sunday morning experience at home throughout the week. We also encourage parents to get social with us on Facebook to stay updated and inspired by providing additional resources and sharing relevant topics.
