What Is a Bayou Care Minister?

Bayou Care Ministers are compassionate, spiritually mature individuals who provide ongoing, confidential care through intentional conversations and prayer. Whether someone is dealing with grief, anxiety, relational struggles, or spiritual questions, Care Ministers offer a safe space to talk, process, and find hope in Christ.

This isn't just a listening role—it's a ministry of presence and encouragement. Care Ministers come alongside people in our church and community with the love of Jesus and a heart to serve.

The Details

Serving as a Care Minister

You'll meet regularly with an individual over the course of eight weeks to walk with them through a difficult season. You'll provide biblical encouragement rooted in grace, truth, and hope, while praying with and for the person you're supporting. Through consistent, ongoing care, you'll stay connected and committed, offering a steady presence as they navigate life's challenges. Using the practical tools and training you've received, your role is to guide them toward spiritual and emotional independence.
