What we experience together on Sunday was never meant to stay on Sunday. First Steps is a single-session class where you’ll discover who we are, why we do the things we do, and what it looks like to live those things out every day as we follow Jesus.
First Steps isn’t a lecture. It’s built around conversation—you’ll meet some Bayou staff, Serve Team members, and others like you taking the same step, hear a little of each other's stories, and experience our values firsthand instead of just hearing about them.
And First Steps isn’t only for people who are new. Whether this is your first month at The Bayou or you’ve called it home for years, if you’ve ever said “The Bayou is my church,” this is where you'll discover what that really means—and the part you play in creating it for others.
First Steps meets every Sunday from 9:30am–11:00am, January through November, in the First Steps Room, just off the Lobby next to the main entrance. No registration needed—join us any Sunday you're ready to take a step beyond Sunday morning.
