About the Young Adults Ministry

The Young Adults Ministry at The Bayou is a ministry for young adults, by young adults. If you’re between 18 and 29, this ministry has been designed with you in mind—helping you know God, find community, and make a difference. Our first priority is to create consistent spaces where young adults can gather, be encouraged, and follow Jesus together.

Our second goal is to remind you that you have a place in the church—not just to attend, but to serve, grow, and lead. Rooted in 1 Timothy 4:12, we’re committed to living lives marked by godly speech, love, faith, purity, and self-control. Whether through small groups, monthly gatherings, or serving opportunities, this is a place where you can build a strong foundation and grow in living out your purpose.

Join Us on Thursdays Once a Month

Our monthly Young Adults gathering is designed to be a space where you can know God and find community alongside others in your life stage. Held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30pm in the Theater on the Bayou campus, these gatherings include powerful worship, a meaningful and practical message from the Bible, and time to connect and build real relationships.

It’s the perfect complement to the small groups that meet throughout the month (more info on those below)—bringing everyone together for a shared moment of encouragement and vision. Whether you’re new to faith or looking to grow deeper, you’ll find purpose, connection, and truth here. Don’t miss the chance to be inspired, challenged, and known.

Small Groups

Young adults small groups at The Bayou are a great place to connect with others who are navigating the same season of life. These groups offer a space to be real, build meaningful friendships, and grow spiritually alongside people who understand the unique pressures and decisions that come with early adulthood.

No one was created to do life alone—and a young adults small group is where you can find community. As you walk through life together, you’ll find encouragement, accountability, and a deeper connection to the purpose God has for you.
