The Bayou Kids Ministry, for kindergarten through 5th grade, exists to cultivate growth in three areas for every child.
Bayou Kids provides safe, age-appropriate environments where children in kindergarten through 5th grade can learn about Jesus in a way they can understand. Through engaging teaching, meaningful relationships, and interactive activities, kids discover God's truth and how it applies to their everyday lives.
My favorite thing about Bayou Kids Ministry is the inclusive nature of the program and the faith centered curriculum that teaches our kids to follow God in all aspects of their lives.

We make check-in easy and safe. Here is what to expect.
When you arrive, head to the Kids Check-In counter located near the main entrance. You will be greeted by a friendly team member who will walk you through the entire process: no stress, no guesswork. If it is your first time, we will get you set up in our system so future visits are even easier.
Use one of our Church Center kiosks right at the counter to check in your child. You can also save time by pre-checking in from home using the free Church Center app on your phone. Either way, the process only takes a moment and ensures your child is securely registered for the morning.
Once checked in, you will receive a name tag for your child and a matching security tag for you. Our team will walk you to your child's classroom and introduce you to the volunteers. When service is over, simply show your security tag at pickup. It is that easy.
Here is what you can expect your kids to get from Kids Ministry.
Our 252 Strategy provokes discovery and invites children to a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. It is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world. Hands-on activities, high-energy games, new friends and encouraging words from the time they walk through the doors until they leave create an excitement to return each week!
Age-graded small groups are designed to support a safe environment with consistent leaders who engage children to trust God's character and live out God's story by loving and serving others. You can trust that our staff and volunteers serve because they love being with kids and are called by God to this ministry. Every volunteer is screened with a national background check, trained in child protection guidelines, and trained in their area of ministry.
We want to partner with YOU! Take-home resources assist parents in continuing the Sunday morning experience at home throughout the week. We also encourage parents to get social with us on Facebook to stay updated and inspired by providing additional resources and sharing relevant topics.
A summer camp for completed grades K-5.
Presented by the WinShape Foundation in partnership with Lafayette Chick-fil-A restaurants, WinShape Camp is the ultimate day camp experience providing an incredible five days of over-the-top fun and adventure for students who have completed grades K-5. WinShape is led by outstanding university students and young professionals from across the nation who challenge campers to sharpen their character, deepen their faith and grow in relationships with others.
Campers register for fun, engaging activities such as team sports, archery, cheerleading, wacky science, photography, drama, dance and so much more! Each day, WinShape also offers high-energy worship programs and Bible study to help kids learn about the love of God and how they can build a relationship with Him. We know Sunday mornings can feel challenging for families of kids with special needs, and we want to help you worship with confidence and peace of mind.
During the 11:15am service, our Inclusion Room in the Preschool Ministry area offers a welcoming space where parents can watch a live simulcast while children enjoy one of two adjoining sensory rooms staffed by trained volunteers.
