The Bayou Student Ministry, for 6th through 12th grade, provides a space for students to experience the joy of worshipping, serving, learning, and growing in a gospel-centered environment.
Bayou Students is a ministry for students in 6th-12th grade designed to help them build a transforming relationship with God. Through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, and meaningful connections within the larger church family, students are encouraged to grow in their faith and make it their own.
After moving from Texas, finding a church that our family would feel at home in was a challenge, but The Bayou Church has been that and more. Our kids love and enjoy going to Student Sunday Nights.

Every Sunday at 5:00pm, middle school and high school students gather for an experience designed just for them. The campus is transformed into a space where students can connect with God and one another through engaging worship, relevant biblical teaching, and meaningful relationships. Student Sunday Nights are designed to help students build a transforming relationship with God in an environment where they can have fun, grow in faith, and find community.

Small groups are at the heart of Bayou Students. Every Student Sunday Night includes dedicated small-group time, ensuring every student has the opportunity to build authentic friendships and grow alongside trusted leaders and peers. These grade- and gender-specific groups create a safe space for students to ask questions, discuss life and faith, and develop a foundation for lasting spiritual growth.
Authentic Community - Students build meaningful relationships, find encouragement, and discover they don't have to navigate life and faith alone.
The Internship exists to provide students, middle school through high school, an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy of leadership.
The Bayou Students Internship will add value to a student's life and help them grow in their relationship with God through leadership development, serving opportunities, and active involvement within the church.
Summer is one of our favorite times of the year! And what's a better way to spend summer than by going to camp? We offer camps for both middle school and high school students each June.
Students have the opportunity to leave the comfort of their homes and get away from distractions so they can connect more with others and grow in their relationship with Christ. Check out our Events page each spring for more details and to sign up!
