About Student Ministry

Our vision is to see the next generation accept Christ, get connected, be empowered, and serve with humility.

The Bayou Students is a ministry dedicated to providing a place for students (6th -12th grade) to build a transforming relationship with God and long-lasting relationships with students and adult leaders. Everything we do is specifically designed to help students grow in Christ-centered relationships.

High School Sunday Night

Our High School Service is a weekly connection point for students.

Our Student Ministry focuses on high school students (9th-12th graders) on Sunday evening at 5:00 pm! (Return date to be determined!) We gather on campus in our Cafe and Student Venues for high school students to worship, hear God's Word preached, and grow together in small groups. By concentrating all of this on Sunday nights, we believe we can help even more students know God, find community, and make a difference.

(High school students will be encouraged to either find a place to serve in one of the other Sunday morning ministry opportunities, or join the adults in the worship service on Sunday mornings.)

Middle School Sunday Morning

Our Middle School Service is a weekly connection point for students.

When we return to in-person services (the date of which is yet to be determined), our Student Ministry will focus on middle school students (6th-8th graders) on Sunday mornings! Every Sunday morning, we will create an irresistible environment for middle school students to gather, worship, hear God's Word preached, and grow together in small groups. By concentrating all of this on Sunday mornings, we believe we can help even more students know God, find community, and make a difference.

(High school students will be encouraged to either find a place to serve in one of the other Sunday morning ministry opportunities, or join the adults in the worship service.)

Small Groups

Small groups are a combination of hanging out with friends and growing closer to Jesus.

They offer students the opportunity to meet and grow closer to new friends and learn from our faithful, adult volunteers who will challenge them through Bible study to grow in their faith. Student small groups meet only during the academic school year.
