At The Bayou Church, we believe life is better together. As we experience life together in community, we're able to encourage each other, help each other and point each other to Christ through all life's circumstances. We offer different types of groups designed to meet people where they are, through different seasons of life and address different needs that may arise in those seasons. Check out the group types below!
Find community and grow with people like you as you follow Jesus together.
These are ongoing gatherings with groups of friendly people who want to learn, grow, and build Christ-centered community. Many groups meet weekly or bi-weekly to dig deeper into that week's sermon topic or another Scripture-based study.

Find support, help, and hope in specific areas and times when life feels too difficult.
These groups meet once a week for between 8-12 weeks and are designed to help you find support, healing, and encouragement through meaningful relationships. They address specific hardships and provide healing at a deeper level through God-honoring, curriculum-based studies.
Care Groups like The Art of Marriage, Financial Peace University, GriefShare, DivorceCare, Hope for Mental Health, and Single & Parenting are scheduled to start multiple times each year.
Develop strong personal disciplines that cultivate spiritual growth in a group of three or four.
D-Groups are gender-specific closed groups of three or four people who commit to growing as followers of Jesus together. Over 12-18 months, you'll develop personal rhythms of Scripture, prayer, accountability, and spiritual growth in a trusted environment designed to help you become more like Jesus. D-Groups are about more than simply finding community—it's a commitment to fully follow Jesus and become His disciple in every part of life. Once completed, participants disciple others in the area where God calls them.
