Watching online is fine, but joining us in-person is a much better experience. We'd love for you to join us.
The Bayou Church meets at our campus in Lafayette, LA, for three services every Sunday.

We're located between Kaliste Saloom Road and Settler's Trace Blvd, providing access from both roadways. Parking is available on either side of the building. Here's a glimpse of what you'll experience
Our Kids and Preschool ministries offer age-appropriate, safe, and fun environments during every service. Our team will walk you through a simple check-in process on your first visit. Students in grades 6-12 participate in the adult worship services, with Student Sunday Nights later in the day.
We offer a few different worship environments, so find the one that works for you.

Our main worship venue is located just inside the main entrance. With powerful music and interactive media elements, this venue packs energy and excitement in a creative atmosphere. All Sunday teaching happens in this venue.
Capacity: 800 • All Service Times

A smaller venue with a laid back atmosphere. This venue is located inside the main entrance near the Bayou Beanery. There is live worship in the Theater while the rest of the service is a simulcast from the Auditorium.
Capacity: 250 • 9:30am, 11:15am

Located in our side lobby near the Preschool and Kids area, the Family Room is a simulcast venue for moms and dads who prefer to worship with their young children.

We are delighted to offer a worship space for parents of children with special needs on Sunday mornings. This venue is located within our NextGen Ministry and is a simulcast venue during the 11:15am service. While families enjoy fellowship and worship together, children with special needs will be in an adjoining sensory room staffed with trained volunteers. If you have questions or want to let us know when you'll be coming, connect with us below.
Capacity: Several families • 11:15am
Hear from people like you about their experiences at The Bayou Church.

What I’ve learned through taking this step is that even when it seems scary, do it because God has a plan.

I started to realize that my identity was in Christ and that nothing I could do would make him reject me or turn away from me.

I never thought walking through those doors that I would have any kind of impact, but now it means eternity to me that someone invited me in.

In addition to free coffee, we also have a full-service coffee bar called Bayou Beanery. Located in our lobby area, the Bayou Beanery features Reve coffee beans (a local favorite—you'll love it) with both hot and cold coffee selections. Stop by before or after services to enjoy coffee with your family and friends.
Open before and after every service. • Located in the main lobby.
Not sure what to expect? Take a look at a few worship clips and message excerpts to get a feel for what Sunday mornings at The Bayou are like, including portions of messages from our lead teaching pastors, Sean Walker and Derek Griffon.
We'd love for you to join us on Sundays at 8:00am, 9:30, or 11:15am. For details on our different worship venues scroll back up this page a little.
To help make your morning feel easy and unhurried, plan to arrive about 15 minutes early so you have time to check in your kids (if you've got any) and make your way to the Auditorium.
Come as you are. On any given Sunday, you'll see people wearing everything from dresses and button-downs to jeans and T-shirts. Most people dress casual, so wear whatever feels comfortable to you.
We have lots of parking on both the Kaliste Saloom and Settler's Trace sides of the building. There are a few spaces set aside for guests closer to the building, so feel free to grab one of those if it's available. There's really only one entrance on both sides of the building and there will be smiling people there to greet you and point you to where you need to go.
Yes! Our Preschool (birth-pre-K) and Kids (K-grade 5) environments are available at all three services. For more on those environments, visit the Preschool page or the Kids page.
On Sunday morning, students in grades 6-12 worship with the adults in the Auditorium. This is important for students as they mature, so they know very clearly they are a part of the larger church community. Students meet separately on Sunday Nights at 5:00pm. Visit the Student page to learn more.
When you're just checking things out, we don't expect you to give anything. And we won't make you wear a visitor badge or ask you to do anything that draws attention to yourself as a guest. We want you to remain anonymous until you're ready to let us know you're ready to connect. When you're ready, you can visit the Connect Center in the lobby.
The weekend experience is the same within each venue. For example, the experience is a little different in the Auditorium compared to the Theater, even though they both have live worship. The vibe is just a little different in each. The sermon is always the same, no matter which worship venue you choose. And, all weekend services have Preschool and Kids ministry environments.
We'd love to prepare for your visit and help you feel right at home—let us know you're coming!
