Religion vs Relationship

I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life. Jesus spoke these words over 2,000 years ago. But what does it mean to “walk in darkness?” Sometimes it’s carrying the burden of old hurts and past failures, or anxiety about the hatred and death that seem so rampant in the world today. The good news is that Jesus’ words are still true today. It’s not about what you’ve done - or what you do. It’s about knowing who God really is. And when that happens, you begin to walk forward in the light of life.
