There are many heroes in Acadiana who have a tremendous influence in our community, but our educators intentionally touch the lives of the next generation each day. For that reason, we want to celebrate all you do by honoring your dedication to students. We, The Bayou Church, are #ForAcadiana Educators. We host and participate in several events to support educators and the education community:

Educator Drive-Thru Gift Giveaway:

We know the end of the summer is busy getting your classrooms and schools ready. So we have a small gift to help educators start the school year. Gifts will be available for drive-thru pick up on Tuesday, July 30, from 11:30am-12:30pm. Additionally, we will send lunch with you, so you have sustenance to keep going!

Educator Sunday:

We hope all educators will join us on Sunday, August 11, at any of our services (8:00am, 9:30am, 11:00am). We have planned a special Sunday service so we can acknowledge and pray for you and your students at the start of the new school year. 

School Supply Drive:

We understand that some of our educators have students who don't have the needed supplies to learn in their classes. So every year, we host a school supply drive to collect a variety of items which Love INC distributes to under-resourced students in our community. Some of the supplies needed include mesh backpacks, loose leaf paper, scissors, pencils, pens, notebooks, and crayons.
