Every gift given to The Bayou Church from 2022-2024 will go to the Decades Initiative— to help us build on the past to shape the future. We continue to be committed to living and loving like Jesus by serving those most in need, and we will give away $1 million over the next two years to make a difference in Acadiana and beyond through our community and ministry partners.
We want to serve and reach people in our community, and that’s why we partner with local organizations to make a difference right here in our neighborhood.
We strive to make a positive impact not just in our community, but all over the world. Partnering with international organizations is another way we seek to serve.
Looking to the future is vital to keeping our values and faith alive, so we strive to make a difference in the lives of young people.
All donations given on Make A Difference Sunday 2022 will be given away to our Make A Difference ministry partners listed below. We invest in Christ-centered local and international organizations who offer a "hand-up" rather than a "hand-out" to those most in need.

Transforming the hearts and lives of Alaska's native population with the message of Christ.
A PREGNANCY CENTER & CLINIC
Providing a free medical clinic and educational resources for pregnant women.
BRIDGE MINISTRY OF ACADIANA:
After-school tutoring and Christ-centered mentoring to students at Holy Family School.
FOSTER THE LOVE
Supporting foster and adoptive families, specifically those affected by trauma, as well as educating the community on the needs of the foster system.

Ministering to an at-risk community through educational support and neighborhood outreach

Mentoring kids in a high-crime/high-poverty neighborhood to reimagine their future and transform the community around them.
LOVE INC
Helping local churches steward their benevolence resources well by vetting and connecting those living below the poverty line to a network of local churches.

Equipping and resourcing indigenous leaders to share the Gospel with the Mam people in Guatemala.
RECIPROCAL MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL
Transforming lives by facilitating and building church-to-church cross-cultural partnerships in Haiti.
