Invite Others to Know God, Find Community, and Make a Difference

Inviting family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors to church is one way we can fulfill our responsibility to obey Jesus and introduce Him to a lost world. It is also a tangible way to show them the love of Christ. As Pastor Sean has shared, most people come to church because of a personal invitation. Use the tools below to invite someone to a sermon series!

People Pleasing Trap Social Square Title

The People Pleasing Trap: Finding Freedom in God's Approval
January 4, 11, & 18

People pleasing can show up in different ways—saying “yes” when we should say “no,” staying quiet to avoid conflict, or constantly striving to meet others’ expectations, even when they are unreasonable. In this series, we’ll unpack why we care so much about what others think and how that pressure can pull us away from our God-given purpose. Through biblical truth and practical teaching, we’ll discover the freedom that comes from living for God’s approval instead of chasing everyone else's.

Sample Message for The People Pleasing Trap: Finding Freedom in God's Approval

I’d love for you to join me at church for our new series, The People Pleasing Trap: Finding Freedom in God's Approval! It's all about unpacking why we care so much about what others think and how that pressure can pull us away from our God-given purpose. Together, we’ll discover the freedom that comes from living for God’s approval instead of chasing everyone else's.

I think this series will be a real encouragement. It’s happening on January 4,11, and 18. Let me know if you want to come—we could even sit together if you’d like. Hope to see you there!
