Security and sequence matter.
Part 1, from Genesis and Jesus:
- Sex is God’s idea.
- Sex is a gift from God to us.
- Sex is wonderful, purposeful, and sacred.
- From the very beginning, sex was intentionally designed to be beautiful and powerful within the security of marriage between a man and a woman.
Powerful things require security and sequence.
Outside the security of marriage and out of sequence, the power of sex can be very destructive.
Inside the security of marriage and in God’s sequence, sex is designed to be life-giving and wonderful.

God designed the beautiful and powerful gift of sexual intimacy to be reserved for the sacred, protective, and joy-filled covenant of marriage.

Sex is a powerful gift that thrives in the right security and sequence.
We all get out of sequence with God. (sin) But God has made a way for us to get back in sequence with Him. (through Jesus)
“10‘Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?’ 11‘No, Lord,’ she said. And Jesus said, ‘Neither do I. Go and sin no more.’” John 8:10-11 (NLT)
