Mending the Soul

Mending the Soul is a small, intimate recovery support group that offers hope and healing for men and women who have experienced any form of abuse. This 15-week study takes a personal and specific look at trauma, guiding participants through a process of deep discipleship and restoration. While the journey may be challenging at times, it ultimately leads to God’s healing and the discovery of redemptive purposes for pain.

Each group is limited to five participants of the same gender to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Meetings take place on Thursdays from 6:00pm–8:00pm. Mending the Soul mentors, who have walked through their own healing, will lead each session and connect participants to a safe, understanding community.

Because of the sensitive nature of this group, an application process is required. If you are interested in being considered for the upcoming session, please apply using one of the buttons below.

Please note, childcare is provided. For more information, please contact us at recovery@thebayouchurch.org or call 337.984.8291. All inquiries are confidential.
