Christmas at The Bayou
We invite you to join us for any of the following opportunities for you, your family, and friends to connect, find meaning, and celebrate the birth of Jesus throughout December.
Friday, December 20 | 7:00 pm | Auditorium
Saturday, December 21 | 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm | Auditorium
Sunday, December 22 | 5:00 pm, 7:00 pm | Auditorium
Celebrate the sounds of the season at The Bayou Church's annual Christmas Concert. There are five opportunities for you to experience this holiday tradition with your family and friends.
This family-friendly event captures the essence of Christmas in Acadiana through a unique blend of musical styles performed by some of the area's finest musicians. Our pastor will share a brief message about the hope that was born on Christmas for all to receive. There is no childcare as we encourage you to enjoy the concert as a family, but we will have a special area to accommodate little ones who get restless. Join us!
Please note that we will be offering a normal worship service schedule on Sunday morning, December 22 (8:00 am, 9:30 am and 11:00 am) before the final concerts that evening. In addition, we will not be offering any Christmas Eve services. Our prayer is that you will be able to spend that time with family and friends, celebrating the birth of our Savior together.
Foster Children's Christmas Party
Friday, December 6
For several years, The Bayou Church and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) have created a Christmas event complete with dinner, photo booth, a visit with Santa, North Pole Candy Shoppe, face painting and more for every foster child in Lafayette parish (approximately 150 children). You can make a difference by donating cash for supplies, setting up, or helping to serve at the party. LEARN MORE
