Christmas at The Bayou
We invite you to join us for any of the following opportunities for you, your family, and friends to connect, find meaning, and celebrate the birth of Jesus throughout December.
Friday, December 18 | 7:00 pm | Auditorium
Saturday, December 19 | 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm | Auditorium
Sunday, December 20 | 11:00 am, 3:00 pm, 5:00 pm | Auditorium
Celebrate the sounds of the season at The Bayou Church's annual Christmas Concert. There are six opportunities for you to experience this holiday tradition with your family and friends.
This family-friendly event captures the essence of Christmas in Acadiana through a unique blend of musical styles performed by some of the area's finest musicians. Our pastor will share a brief message about the hope that was born on Christmas for all to receive. There is no childcare as we encourage you to enjoy the concert as a family, but we will have a special area to accommodate little ones who get restless. Reserve your tickets in advance as we'll have limited seating at each concert. All children and adults will need a ticket. Entrance will be through the Foyer only and exit will be through the Commons only.
*Please note that we will not have our usual Sunday services on Sunday, December 20. Instead, we invite you to join us for one of the three concerts that day with your family. In addition, we will not be offering any Christmas Eve services. Our prayer is that you will be able to spend that time with family and friends, celebrating the birth of our Savior together.
Wednesday, December 2 | 6:30 pm | Auditorium
All men of Acadiana are invited to join us for our monthly Men's Night! We'll hear from a guest speaker while enjoying dinner together. No cost to attend, but a $5 donation for meal is always appreciated. This month, we encourage everyone to bring a bag of individually wrapped candy to donate to the Foster Children’s Christmas event.
Foster Children's Christmas Party
Friday, December 4
The Bayou Church is honored to partner with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to organize community donors from across Acadiana to create a special Christmas gift for every family fostering a child in Lafayette parish which is approximately 100 families. This special drive-thru party will include princesses and superheroes along with Santa. We can't wait to bless these families with meal cards, gift cards, candy and more this Christmas season. You can make a difference by donating or volunteering to setup. LEARN MORE
