Sean Walker

Sean Walker serves as the Lead Pastor of The Bayou Church. As someone who grew up at The Bayou, he has spent most of his life investing in the people and mission of the church. He joined the staff in 2005 and became Lead Pastor in 2020, continuing a deep commitment to helping people know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live on mission.

Sean earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master's degree from Southwestern Seminary. He is passionate about building a healthy, life-giving church where every person is invited to Know God, Find Community, and Make a Difference.

Whether he's preaching on the weekend, developing leaders, or casting vision for the future, Sean's greatest desire is to see lives transformed by the hope of Jesus and for The Bayou Church to continue reaching Acadiana for generations to come.

Sean and his wife, Tory, have two children, Norah and Declan. Outside of church, Sean enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and staying active.
