Derek Griffon

Derek, also known as Griff, joined The Bayou in 2019 as Student Pastor, became NextGen Pastor in 2024, and now serves as our Leadership Development Director and Teaching Pastor. In these roles, Pastor Griff develops impactful sermon content while also coaching staff and key leaders toward spiritual maturity, character development, and strategic effectiveness. This Monroe native enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, reading, writing, or enjoying local restaurants like Shucks.
