Joe Wood

Joe joined The Bayou staff after more than two decades of ministry experience and a lifelong passion for helping people find community and live out their faith. After college, Joe served as a full-time youth pastor while completing seminary and later spent 22½ years in Baptist Collegiate Ministry, helping students own and live out their faith. At The Bayou, he enjoys seeing people grow in their relationship with Christ and building systems that equip leaders to make that growth possible. Outside of work, Joe enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, fishing, and duck hunting. He met his wife, Kim, at NSU, and together they have three children: Anna Kate, Avery, and Samuel.
