You're not meant to carry it alone.
Life doesn't end after a weekend service or when you exit the church building. Neither should our prayer life. Matter of fact, we probably need prayer throughout the week more than we do on Sunday mornings. That's why we have this prayer network. Think of it as the place where we connect as a church—sharing and praying together. Submit your prayer request and it will be shared with our Prayer Team, who will then begin praying for you!
If you'd like to be part of our volunteer prayer team who prays over prayer requests, send an email to care@thebayouchurch.org.
Gatherings that make space to seek God as a church.

Twice a year we set aside 21 days to seek God together, with the Auditorium open for guided prayer through the week. No need to sign up—just join us.

Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30pm—an opportunity to pray together and know God more fully as our provider and sustainer. Childcare through fifth grade provided; no RSVP needed.

On select Thursday nights we pause amid the busyness of life for an inspiring, relaxed evening of worship and prayer. Childcare for birth-5th grade; just show up.
Prayer is not a recitation, but a conversation—a conscious, personal communication with God. Just as God speaks to us in His Word, He is listening when we pray. It may not feel that way, but He is always on the other side of prayer. You can pray anytime and anywhere. Check out this prayer guide for more tips on building your prayer life.
