From March 2022 through March 2024, we posted photos and videos with updates of how Decades commitments and contributions were being applied to shape the future. As of April 2023, we had 100% of the $18M goal committed! And as of March 2024, the final giving to Decades was $17.2 million!
Pray First
Join us on the first Saturday each month at 8:30am in our First Steps room for a 30-minute prayer gathering. These monthly sessions will be led by volunteers, and the format and topic will vary but include prayer requests in one of our three target areas: ongoing ministry, make a difference, future expansion. No need to register, but please note there will be no childcare.
Milestones
God planted a vision in a faithful band of believers from Emmanuel Baptist Church. Their obedience to plant a church east of the bayou on a dirt road has grown and impacted thousands in Acadiana. Take a look at how God has moved in the last 56 years!

Decades was first and foremost a discipleship initiative. We wanted to grow together in the way we understand who God is and what role He is inviting each of us to play in His unfolding story. That's still true today. When you make a financial gift to The Bayou Church, you're an active part of what God is doing in Acadiana and beyond through the Bayou family.
