About Kids Ministry

Our mission is to help elementary-age children discover who they are in Christ and how God has uniquely called them to serve in His Kingdom.

Every Sunday, children (kindergarten through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. We are so passionate about kids learning about Jesus in a way they can understand that we discourage their presence in our adult services. We have prepared Bible stories and activities based on ages, so kids are separated by grades: K-1st; 2nd-3rd; and 4th-5th.

Our Goals

Here’s what you can expect your kids to get from Kids ministry.

Provoke Discover

Our 252 Strategy provokes discovery and invites children to a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. It is organized around key Bible stories that help kids discover Jesus and reflect His character to the world. Hands-on activities, high-energy games, new friends and encouraging words from the time they walk through the doors until they leave create an excitement to return each week!

Provide Community

Age-graded small groups are designed to support a safe environment with consistent leaders who engage children to trust God’s character and live out God’s story by loving and serving others. You can trust that our staff and volunteers serve because they love being with kids and are called by God to this ministry. Every volunteer is screened with a national background check, trained in child protection guidelines, and trained in their area of ministry.

First Time Guests

Come to the Preschool & Kids Check-In counter located in the Lobby.

We will meet your family and check your child into our database system. We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child. One of our volunteers will then lead you and your child to their age-appropriate room.

Check-In Process

You and your child will receive identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit.

We have a self-check-in process for your convenience. After checking-into our system, you and your child will receive printed tags exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion which bears a code that is matched to your tag. The adult tag can be worn or held in a safe place.

If a tag is misplaced or lost, please go directly to the Preschool & Kids Check-In counter to present identification and receive a new tag.
