Tuesday Women's Bible Studies

We believe women engage when they live in community with others who have their back and encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Simply put, these groups are where you can learn more about God, pray, laugh, and share life together.

We offer on-campus Bible studies (small groups) that meet Tuesday mornings or evenings each fall and spring during the school year. Choose from one of the great studies below, and plan on a great season sharing life with other women from The Bayou Church and growing together while studying God’s Word.

Armor Of God v2

MOMentum is a group of moms of all ages and stages who aim to keep Christ at the center of their hearts and homes. In Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer, you'll discover how "a devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory."

Join moms across Acadiana for worship, Bible study, fellowship and fun! We will meet Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am - 11:30 am or Thursdays from 6:00-8:00pm. Want to get connected beyond Tuesdays? Join the MOMentum Facebook group.

Childcare (Birth-PK4) is provided for Tuesday AM only, but you MUST RSVP for childcare.

All Things New v2

Women of the Word (WOW) is a group of multi-generational women from across Acadiana seeking to strengthen relationships with Christ and others by studying God's Word together from February 4-April 7. We will meet in the Ministry Center at The Bayou Church on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am - 11:30 am.

We will be studying All Things New by Kelly Minter. Through this eight-week study, we'll explore the anchoring truths of bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. Each of us has a message to proclaim and live by: Because of Jesus the old has gone, the new has come. Childcare (Birth-PK4) will be available for a suggested weekly donation of $3 per family to help offset childcare costs. Please note that you MUST RSVP for childcare.

Explore The Bible Esther v3

Join a group of multi-generational women from across Acadiana as we seek to strengthen our relationship with Christ and others by studying God's Word together from February 11-April 7. We will meet at The Bayou Church on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am-11:30am or Tuesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm.

We will be studying Esther with two resources. In this six-week study, we'll discover a woman who was used of God to stand against unholy people to preserve the Jewish people along with their culture and tradition. The invisible hand of God was at work in Esther's life, and He is at work in and through you. God has a plan and He has strategically positioned you as part of His kingdom to bring salvation to your circle of influence..
