Tuesday Women's Bible Studies
We believe women engage when they live in community with others who have their back and encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Simply put, these groups are where you can learn more about God, pray, laugh, and share life together.
We offer on-campus Bible studies (small groups) that meet Tuesday mornings or evenings each fall and spring during the school year. Choose from one of the great studies below, and plan on a great season sharing life with other women from The Bayou Church and growing together while studying God’s Word.
MOMentum is a group of moms of all ages and stages who aim to keep Christ at the center of their hearts and homes. In Mom Set Free by Jeannie Cunnion, we'll "discover how the Gospel message can empower us to parent in the freedom of God's sovereignty. So that we can breathe deeper, walk lighter, and enjoy our children - and the parenting journey - more than ever before."
Join moms across Acadiana for worship, Bible study, fellowship and fun! We will meet Tuesday mornings from 9:30 am - 11:30 am or Thursday evenings from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. Want to get connected beyond Tuesdays? Join the MOMentum Facebook group.

We will be studying Discerning The Voice of God - Revised by Priscilla Shirer. Through this seven-week study, we'll discover the root to clear and daily communication with God—humble obedience. Learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, centers us in His will, and helps us discern His voice in everyday life. Purchase the Bible study workbook from any retailer. Childcare (Birth-PK4) will be available for a suggested weekly donation of $3 per family to help offset childcare costs. Please note that you MUST RSVP for childcare.

We will be studying Jeremiah: Daring to Hope in an Unstable World by Melissa Spoelstra. In this six-week study, Melissa Spoelstra offers us encouragement and help for navigating the uncertainties and challenges of life. In the Book of Jeremiah, we find God calling out to His people with a message of hope a message that intentional living is possible even in an unstable world. By examining God's words of instruction to His wayward people through the prophet Jeremiah, we will discover six guidelines for living that can help us overcome fear, worry, doubt, and bitterness as we surrender our wills to God and put our hope in Him alone.
