Middle School Students
The Bayou Students is the student ministry of The Bayou Church. Students (6th-12th grade) have the opportunity to build a transforming relationship with God and long-lasting relationships with students and adult leaders. Everything we do is specifically designed to help students grow in Christ-centered relationships.
Middle School Activities:
Sunday Morning Services
We have two services every Sunday morning for our middle and high school students. Whether looking for answers, friends, or a place of meaning, all students are welcome to services on Sundays at 9:30AM or 11:00AM in the Student Venue of The Bayou Church.
Life Groups are a key part of spiritual growth in the Student Ministry. We meet every week during the school year to talk about God, the Bible, and real life. Life Groups offer students the opportunity to meet and grow closer to new friends, be challenged to grow in their faith, and learn from amazing adult leaders and volunteers. To join, students simply need to show up, and we will help them plug into an age-appropriate group. Students are not required to be a Christian to join a Life Group. More Info
Wednesday Afternoon Hang Out (WAHO) is a weekly summer event for middle school students. Most Wednesdays during the summer, students enjoy a theme night filled with games, prizes, and activities. There is no cost to attend WAHO. Snacks and drinks will be available for sale in The Bayou Shop.
Middle School Camp (MSC) is an incredible event for students! Something unexpectedly amazing happens when students get away from a normal routine and focus on connecting with God and other people who are passionate about following Him. More Info
