We are all about relationships. We value God's Word, and our goal is to lead students into continual growth in their relationship with Jesus through worship, teaching, and college community.
What We Are About
- The Community - Rescued People Reach People
We believe that we must be present in the community, share God’s love and truth with people, and reach the community with the gospel of Jesus.
College night meets in the Student Venue of The Bayou Church on most Thursday nights during the fall and spring semesters at 7:00pm. It's a gathering of college-age students in Acadiana who come together to share in community, worship, and teaching specific to their unique season of life.
Life Groups are a combination of hanging out with friends and growing closer to Jesus. They offer students the opportunity to meet and grow closer to new friends while growing in faith through Bible study. Life Groups meet only during the fall and spring semesters.
The Legacy Internship exists to provide college students an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy of leadership. The Legacy Internship will add value to a student's life and help them grow in their relationship with God through leadership development, serving opportunities, and active involvement within the church.
The College Ministry hosts several events throughout the year designed to help students connect with others and grow in their faith. Take a look at what’s coming up for you at The Bayou Church.
